Just got my list of stuff to do for the summer. I'm pretty pleased it's not nearly as much as compared to last year. I hope to get it done early, preferably before school ends on June 10th.

And the books are...ok, better than for Language and comp.

Metamorphasis by Franz Kafka (Which I just finished reading) - write a 750word essay
"The Inferno" by Dante- do a chart of the nine circles of hell
And a book on greek heros, gods, goddesses and mythical creatures. -do a chart of all the characters

Then just a whole bunch of Ap chem work and whatever I get for portfolio 2 for next year.

I'm excited for the photography class I'll be taking :3 and weight training, that's gonna be like...freaking awesome >D

I'm still throwing that spiriting and tile sheet making job back and forth, even if I don't have time to be so indecisive- well...

I finished MAKING the airship (straight out of the aerial fleet in .hack//infection), now I need to size it down then make it into a tilesheet I can use. I'd really like to know how to do that before I attempt applying. I know it's not hard, but I can't find a coherent tutorial on making the tile sheets =/

In other news...I went to my old middleschool to see :iconoba-san16:'s lil sister sing in the choir there. However the school just happened to be my old middleschool, and my old middleschool choir.

Since oba-san went home with her dad and her sister, and i could drive myself home, i stuck around till everyone left to see if i might get to speak with my old instructor. I was pleased to see that he still knew who I was and could easily recognize me.

"You don't say anything Miss Colbert?"

"No, not really."

I had a lot to say about the performance, but I know my old instructor is a really stubborn and ambitious man, so I wasn't going to bother giving my opinion of the show. I was just disappointed to see that he was sacrificing the quality of his choir for making a showy performance. He said the formal format was 'boring', but even so, the music that was produced because of it well justified the format. People were coming to hear the music anyway, so why try to mix things up and then degrade the music? But oh well, he's a man no one can change. So i left him be. Though he did ask me to come by and talk to his kids sometime, I don't think I will though. I wouldn't have much good to say and I'm not a good liar.

*shrug* that's life. Least I got to see my old principle, Dr. Carter was freaking awesome. He sings the BEST birthday songs over the intercom at lunch if it's someone's birthday LOL

The cross country meeting is tomorro- Well, technically it's today lol. I'm kinda excited and a bit nervous too...I'm signing up for sure though. Maybe I can run for them and maybe just skip out on the Estero cross country meet when it happens? I wonder if the Cypress coach is understanding of those kinds of things...I guess I'll find out for myself.
